Please note, obtaining a referral from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician under the Medicare Benefits Schedule, will make you eligible to receive a substantial rebate from Medicare or your respective health fund.

Rebates
To obtain a rebate for a session with a Psychologist, a referral from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician is needed.

Who do I have to be referred by?
Clients must be referred by a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.

How many sessions am I allowed?
Under the Medicare Benefits Schedule, you are entitled to 10 rebated sessions per Calendar Year. You are allowed to attend as many sessions as you feel fit, however you can only claim the Medicare Rebate for 10 of these sessions.
